Employee Services Manager - Fixed Term Contract - 12 monthsLead a key People service, strengthen employee administration and make a positive difference for approximately 1,800 colleagues across our UK business.The opportunityWe are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Employee Services Manager to lead our Employee Services & Administration team. Reporting to the Head of Employee Services, you will take ownership of a key People service supporting approximately 1,800 employees across our UK locations.You will lead a small team responsible for delivering accurate, efficient and consistent administration across the full employee lifecycle, while improving processes, maintaining high-quality HR data and ensuring our service meets the needs of managers and employees. You will work closely with the Head of Employee Services, Partners supporting managers, Payroll and colleagues across the wider People team.What you'll doLead, motivate and develop the Employee Services &
Administration team, setting clear objectives and supporting individual and team performance.Manage the day-to-day delivery of employee lifecycle administration, including recruitment documentation, contracts, onboarding, employee changes, probation, benefits, family leave, leavers, references and HR correspondence.Ensure work is completed accurately, consistently and within agreed service levels.Act as the escalation point for complex employee queries.Maintain high standards of data quality across HR systems, including regular audits and effective record management.Produce routine reports and management information to support decision-making and service improvement.Review and improve People administration processes, identifying opportunities for standardisation, automation and digitalisation.Develop and maintain procedures, guidance and process documentation.Ensure People administration complies with employment legislation, data protection requirements and Company policies.Support internal
and external audits by providing accurate records and documentation.Build strong working relationships across the business and deliver a responsive, professional service to managers and employees.Contribute to People projects, organisational changes, annual reward processes, policy implementation and the introduction of new technologies and ways of working.What you'll bringExperience of leading or supervising an HR administration, employee services or shared services team.A good understanding of administration processes across the employee lifecycle.Experience of using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.A customer-focused approach and experience of delivering against service standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience of producing management information
and reports.Strong problem-solving skills, with evidence of identifying and implementing process improvements.It would be great if you also haveExperience in a manufacturing or multi-site organisation.Experience of supporting payroll processes.Experience of implementing HR systems or new technologies.Experience of managing data protection and HR record requirements.A CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience.Why join us?This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of an essential People service, lead a valued team and improve how we support colleagues and managers across the business.
