Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated person to join the Administration Team in the Emergency Services, providing an efficient and welcoming service to patients and relatives.

Following a Local Induction, you will be trained in each of the below areas to ensure you have the correct tools for undertaking the various clerical duties within the Emergency Services Directorate:

You will be fully trained in all our Administration duties relevant to this role, enabling you to accurately update and maintain patient's hospital records.

Areas within the Services are:

Emergency Department

Acute Medical Unit

ED Main Reception

AMU Main Reception

ED Coordinators

AMU Coordinators

ED Ambulance Receiving Centre

AMU Ward

Same Day Emergency Care Reception

It is essential that you possess excellent communication skills and able to organise your own workload along side supporting colleague for breaks.

The successful applicant will also be required to cover in colleague's absence, even at short notice this will include Bank Holidays, Weekends and Out of hours shifts therefore flexibility is essential as this is 24-hour service 365 days of the year., To undertake various clerical duties associated with the custody and use of Health Records. This to include all administrative procedures and documentation associated with a patient's admission and/or attendance to the Emergency Services.
