An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of paramedic education within the School of Health, Social Work and Sport at the University of Lancashire, Preston., Our people are our most important asset. We are seeking to appoint an HCPC or NMC-registered clinician with recent clinical experience or Higher Education experience. The post holder will have a contemporary understanding of paramedic and emergency care education and practice in the UK., Applicants must be a registered paramedic or nurse and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or Nursing and Midwifery Council. They will hold an honours degree in paramedic education, nursing or emergency healthcare.
Applicants must be committed to student success and experience and be able to demonstrate that they can effectively support teaching and learning in both classroom and practice settings, including promoting interprofessional education. Therefore, experience of teaching at the undergraduate level is desirable
The successful applicant will need to be able to work as part of a team and be self-reliant. Presentation, planning, and organisational skills are also core requirements for this role.
