Full Job Description
- Category Leadership & Transformation + Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing and category strategies across key Marketing areas (including Media, Creative, Social, Influencer Marketing, and Public Relations), Services and Technology. Lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact initiatives that drive business and operating model transformation through innovative sourcing approaches, process optimization, and scalable governance.
- Strategic Sourcing + Own and lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives-from demand assessment and market analysis through sourcing strategy development, competitive processes (RFPs, RFQs), and supplier selection-to align with business objectives. Optimize total cost of ownership by evaluating commercial models, performance metrics, and risk, while maximizing long-term value through scalable solutions, strong governance, and outcome-based partnerships.
- Complex Negotiation & Contracting + Lead high-stakes, high-value negotiations with global and local suppliers to achieve best-in-class commercial outcomes and manage risk. Drive the development and negotiation of MSAs and SOWs in close partnership with Legal, Finance, Data Security, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) + Design and lead a strategic SRM model to govern and strengthen critical supplier partnerships. Drive performance management through regular business reviews, data-driven scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
- Strategic Business Partnership + Act as a trusted advisor and primary sourcing partner to senior leaders. Translate complex business needs into actionable sourcing strategies that support growth, innovation, and financial objectives.
- Data-Driven Value Creation + Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to conduct spend analysis, scenario modeling, and sourcing evaluations. Build clear, fact-based business cases that quantify value, inform decision-making, and track measurable outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Program Leadership + Lead high-impact, cross-functional sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution, managing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder alignment to deliver results at scale.
- Process Optimization & Governance + Drive continuous improvement of sourcing processes and governance to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and ensure compliance.
- AI Automation & Innovation + Identify, design, and deploy AI-powered automation across sourcing workflows-including RFx generation, supplier evaluation, contract analysis, and spend reporting. Develop and scale agentic processes that reduce manual effort, accelerate cycle times, and improve decision quality. Champion an AI-first mindset within the team, proactively exploring emerging tools and embedding them into repeatable, scalable sourcing operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing and category management experience
- 5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience across various categories
- Proven ownership of enterprise-critical initiatives with executive visibility Data, Digital & Analytics
- Strong expertise in spend analytics, cost modeling, and should-cost analysis
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights
- Hands-on experience with source-to-pay platforms (e.g., Coupa) and the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
- Practical experience using AI-enabled and digital tools to improve sourcing effectiveness and efficiency AI Fluency & Modern Tooling
- Demonstrated, hands-on fluency with generative AI tools in a professional context, and specifically Claude for tasks such as contract review, RFP synthesis, commercial analysis, reporting and stakeholder communications.
- Proven ability to build or apply AI-powered workflows (e.g., prompt design, structured document analysis, AI-assisted spend/contract intelligence tools) to accelerate sourcing cycles and improve decision quality.
- A builder's mindset toward AI adoption - comfortable evaluating and championing new AI capabilities within the sourcing function, not just using AI as a passive assistant.
- Familiarity with agentic and integration-based AI workflows (e.g., connecting AI tools to Slack, Google Drive, Coupa, or similar platforms) is a strong plus. AI Automation
- Proven ability to identify automation opportunities across the sourcing lifecycle and deploy AI agents or workflow tools to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks
- Experience building or directing AI-assisted processes for RFx development, supplier scoring, contract redlining, or spend analysis
- Ability to evaluate, pilot, and scale AI automation tools in a procurement context, with a track record of driving measurable efficiency gains
- Comfortable working at the intersection of procurement and technology-able to translate business needs into automation requirements and partner with technical teams to implement solutions Core Competencies
