Location: Crawley, West Sussex (close to Gatwick Airport)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

A well-established company based in Crawley is looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Test & Repair Technician to join a team of five technicians.
This is a hands-on role involving the diagnosis, testing and repair of a range of electrical and electronic equipment. The successful candidate will be methodical in their approach, capable of fault-finding to component level, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
- Testing and fault-finding electrical and electronic equipment (EEE)
- Diagnosing and repairing faults to component level
- Reading and interpreting electronic schematics and circuit diagrams
- Identifying electronic components and understanding their function within a circuit
- Carrying out soldering and rework activities as required
- Working with wiring assemblies and cable looms
- Using standard electronic test equipment including multimeters and continuity testers
- Recording repair findings and maintaining accurate documentation
- Occasionally liaising directly with customers to discuss faults, clarify issues and provide technical feedback
- Previous experience in an electronics environment
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematic drawings
- Good knowledge of electronic components and basic fault-finding techniques
- Experience of soldering and electronic assembly work
- Competent in the use of basic electronic test equipment
- Logical, methodical and detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting
- Good communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with customers
