Electronics Service Technician

The Electronics Service Technician will be responsible for:
·Fault-finding and repairing professional audio, video and wireless equipment down to component level.
·Assembling, disassembling and testing electronic products.
·Reworking PCBs containing both surface mount and through-hole components.
·Preparing estimates and documenting work performed for our customers.
·Repairing and maintaining test equipment.

·Educated to minimum HNC level in electronics or related field.
·At least 2 years' experience in a related role.
·Able to read and interpret complex schematics and data sheets.
·Competent at soldering and reworking fine pitch SMT and through-hole components.
·Proficient in use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, bench power supplies and stereo microscopes etc.
·Knowledge of professional audio equipment, audio circuitry, RF and switching power supplies is desirable.
