Job TitleElectronics Engineer In-Service Electrical - SubmarinesPosition SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electronic Engineer to join our In Service Electrical Department at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. The In-Service Electrical Department supports the Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Power Systems and Plant Sensors equipment across the UK.What you will be doingReviewing and agreeing high level electrical requirements including their testability.Analysing and translating high level requirements into a validated design for the electrical component.Designing and implementing electrical designs to meet the high level requirements and design constraints/standards.Analysing electrical designs for functional behaviour, including modelling and simulation to demonstrate that the design meets the high level requirements.Participating and supporting capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for the department, in conjunction with the department
managers.Developing, implementing, documents, and maintains policies, procedures, associated guidelines, tools and training as required.Position QualificationsAt Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
