Join our team as an Electrician where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing streetlighting assets across Area 4. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of essential maintenance services to our communities.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrician, you'll be working within the Area 4 M&R team, supporting them in delivering routine preventative and reactive maintenance on streetlighting assets. Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out maintenance and construction works on streetlighting assets in accordance with contract requirements

-Conducting periodic testing, new installation testing, and fault finding on electrical equipment and control systems

-Ensuring all work complies with relevant Quality Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and safety procedures

-Completing accurate documentation and records of maintenance work carried out, including health and safety records

-Monitoring contractors' safe working practices and contributing to a collaborative working environment

You hold City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS Card, and City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect qualifications

-You have a Full driving licence and experience in streetlighting maintenance operations

-You bring strong problem-solving skills and a good working knowledge of risk management

-You're committed to delivering quality work through collaborative partnerships in a supportive team environment

-You have a positive, adaptable attitude with the determination to deliver projects within time and budget constraints
