Job Description

Electrician required to start immediately on a large social housing responsive repairs scheme working in and around Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa on a permanent basis.

The Client

Our client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations, and insurance companies.

The Role

• Main duties include carrying out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required in tenanted and void properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with minimal supervision.


• You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.


• The working hours are 40 per week plus a generous ON CALL rota, 1 in every 6-8 weeks.


• The annual salary ranges from £40,000 to £43,000.


• A van and fuel card are provided.


• Street parking is available on site.


• Company van and fuel card for work purposes.


• All Power Tools, Uniform, and PPE are provided.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or a similar qualification.


• 18th Edition qualification.


• Gold CSCS/JIB Card / AM2 Qualification.


• Social Housing Experience.


• Full UK Driving Licence with less than 5 points and no driving bans within the past 5 years.


• Ability to provide 2 verifiable references if not previously employed with Fawkes & Reece.
