Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a residential construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electricians and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while meeting project deadlines. Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities on site.
- Manage and support electrical operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current regulations, drawings, specifications, and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Monitor progress against programme requirements and report to project management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain project workflow.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, inspections, and permits.
Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role within residential construction. - Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card.
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery.
- Experience working on large-scale residential developments.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience using digital reporting and project management systems.
