Full Job Description
We are looking for a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and client service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining business-critical electrical assets within a large corporate environment and will operate as an Authorised Person LV as required.
Working Pattern: 4 nights on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 3 nights on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 6 days off
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with set schedules to maximise plant reliability and operational effectiveness
Undertake electrical reactive maintenance, emergency works and extra works in accordance with contract requirements
Act as Authorised Person (LV) when required, ensuring safe systems of work are followed
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) at all times
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to PPM activities and electrical plant
Respond promptly and effectively to electrically related helpdesk requests and faults
Conduct technical surveys of electrical services and systems, reporting findings to the Senior Critical Engineering Manager (SCEM)
Produce material cost lists for minor works and coordinate initial actions for client requests, enquiries and complaints
Proven experience carrying out PPM and electrical reactive maintenance
Experience working within large corporate or critical environments
Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition and C&G Electrical Installations
Completed electrical apprenticeship
IPAF and PASMA certifications
LV / HV experience desirable (training can be provided and funded)
Strong communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with client enquiries, Disability Confident
