Job Description for Electrical Project Manager To lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of electrical projects across operational maintenance, remedial works, and capital delivery programmes. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, technical, and client requirements whilst maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service. Job Dimensions / Scope
- Responsible for managing annual delivery portfolio depending on region and project allocation
- Delivery may include planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial works, lifecycle replacement, and capital upgrade projects
- Responsible for managing project cost, programme, quality, safety, and commercial performance
- Coordination of internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders
- Regional roles may include operational delivery only or a blend of operational and capital project delivery
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multidisciplinary resources.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience working on water utility or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial delivery models.
- Awareness of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
- LV or HV system knowledge and/or relevant authorisations.
- 18th Edition qualification, inspection and testing certification, or other relevant technical qualifications.
