We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our United Utilities Water Framework team based in North West., Location: North WestHours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our team as an Electrical Project Engineer and play a vital role in delivering safe, compliant electrical, instrumentation, control and automation work packages across the United Utilities water framework. You'll coordinate electrical design, procurement, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning support and handover activities across water, wastewater, network, pumping stations and treatment assets. Working collaboratively with project managers, site teams, designers and supply chain partners, you'll help ensure right-first-time delivery that meets programme, quality and client requirements.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the multi-discipline delivery team, supporting them in delivering electrical engineering activities from design development through to construction completion and handover.
Your day to day will include:
-Coordinating electrical and ICA work packages including MCCs, LV distribution, cabling, drives, instrumentation, telemetry and PLC/SCADA interfaces
-Reviewing electrical design information, specifications, drawings, cable schedules and technical submissions for buildability and compliance
-Supporting procurement and package management including scope development, tender reviews and supplier engagement
-Producing and coordinating RAMS, permits, inspection and test plans, commissioning packs and handover records
-Ensuring engineering delivery complies with CDM, health and safety legislation, United Utilities standards and quality procedures
You have demonstrable experience delivering electrical and ICA works on capital projects within the water sector, utilities or regulated operational environments
-You possess a strong technical understanding of electrical systems including MCCs, LV distribution, instrumentation, actuators and control interfaces
-You're comfortable reading and coordinating electrical drawings, specifications, cable schedules and supplier information
-You hold a minimum HNC/HND, degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline
-You have a proactive, organised approach with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build constructive relationships across teams
