Full Job Description
Role: Shift Electrician Hours/Timing: 40 hrs/week & (1st week: 6AM - 3PM) & (2nd week: 2PM - 11PM)Location: Swanwick, Southampton, SO31 7AY, At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated safely and in compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Carry out Planned Maintenance and Reactive Works on electrical services and equipment.
-Conduct periodic NICEIC inspections and maintain accurate logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
-Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate and report any defects during service visits.
-Maintain a strong working knowledge of statutory regulations and adhere to all site safety procedures.
-Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time and support site compliance activities, including acting as QS once suitable site knowledge is gained.
