This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to develop their management career within a high-performing Estates team. As Electrical Engineering Services Manager, you will act as the Trust's technical lead for mechanical engineering services, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective operation of critical infrastructure across hospital and community sites.

You will lead the maintenance and compliance of key systems including LV, Liftes, and medical gases, while working towards and maintaining Authorised Person responsibilities. The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including managing contractors, supporting and developing in-house maintenance staff, overseeing service contracts, and delivering minor works projects.

As a member of the Estates senior team, you will provide specialist advice to stakeholders, drive compliance with statutory and NHS standards, contribute to strategic service improvements, and support the wider management of the Estates function. The post also includes participation in on-call management arrangements and deputising for senior colleagues when required, providing an excellent platform for further professional and leadership development., Responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective management of the Trust's Electrical engineering services, including , LV , medical gases, and lifts, associated plant and equipment. Acts as Authorised Person for key disciplines, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, HTMs, British Standards, and Trust policies.

Leads maintenance, compliance, contractor management, and minor works projects, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely, and provide value for money. Provides specialist technical advice, supports capital projects, develops maintenance strategies, and oversees audits, inspections, and remedial works.

Manages and develops in-house teams, supports training and competency development, and maintains a hands-on approach when required. Participates in on-call and emergency response arrangements, helping to ensure the continuity of critical engineering services across the Trust.
