The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role is to support Babraham Campus Engineering Department within the Babraham Institute buildings located on the Babraham Research Campus.

The post is within a small in-house maintenance team carrying out day to day remedial and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to maintain the institutes operations and compliance for all relevant regulations and legislation.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37

Salary: Up to £37,902 per annum (depending on experience)

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a BTECH or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of operation and maintenance of electrical supplies and M&E Engineering Services, proven experience in identifying electrical faults and carrying out repairs.

Specific training is a requirement within the post and is provided by the Institute.

This role requires the successful candidate to be onsite.
