If based in Glasgow, Manchester or Portsmouth, you would visit London or Tunbridge Wells around once a month. The consultancy A UK building services design consultancy working across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Project types include hospitals, schools, aircraft hangars, production facilities, warehouses, commercial, industrial and residential. The seat You would lead electrical building services design projects end to end, covering electrical, security and fire detection and alarm systems, and front the client relationship rather than working to someone else's design. You would also be mentoring junior engineers. Technical scope across RIBA Stages 0 to 6:

• Main distribution, 230/400V 50Hz
• Lighting, ordinary and emergency
• Small power and structured cabling
• Earthing and lightning protection
• Fire detection and alarm, including VESDA aspirating detection
• CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, intercom and audio, panic alarm
• Calculations in Amtech and DIALux
• Design to IES, BS and Building Regulations
• Inspection, testing and commissioning
  
  A full driving licence and a car are preferred rather than essential, and travel costs are covered.
