Full Job Description
- Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrotechnical systems and equipment, including switchboards, motors, cables, lighting and alarm systems
- Support the preparation and installation of wiring systems across a range of environments
- Learn and apply electrical legislation, regulations and industry best practices
- Assist with inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of electrical systems
- Support fault finding and diagnostics to ensure safe and efficient system operation
- Develop an understanding of electrical design, installation and maintenance principles
- Maintain safe working practices and contribute to a clean and organised work environment
- Attend Beau Associates/JTL training centre for theory and practical assessments
- Complete all apprenticeship requirements and progress in line with the training plan
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the electrical industry while working towards the EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification through a combination of hands-on experience and block-release training., Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in both English and Mathematics - Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship programme
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
- Strong interest in electrical installation, maintenance and engineering
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Reliable, motivated and eager to learn Desirable
- Previous experience or study in electrical work or engineering
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
