Full Job Description

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrotechnical systems and equipment, including switchboards, motors, cables, lighting and alarm systems
  • Support the preparation and installation of wiring systems across a range of environments
  • Learn and apply electrical legislation, regulations and industry best practices
  • Assist with inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of electrical systems
  • Support fault finding and diagnostics to ensure safe and efficient system operation
  • Develop an understanding of electrical design, installation and maintenance principles
  • Maintain safe working practices and contribute to a clean and organised work environment
  • Attend Beau Associates/JTL training centre for theory and practical assessments
  • Complete all apprenticeship requirements and progress in line with the training plan

    We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the electrical industry while working towards the EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification through a combination of hands-on experience and block-release training., Minimum Grade 4 (or equivalent) in both English and Mathematics
  • Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship programme
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
  • Strong interest in electrical installation, maintenance and engineering
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Reliable, motivated and eager to learn
  • Desirable
  • Previous experience or study in electrical work or engineering
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
