Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our ever-growing team. As part of this expansion, we are recruiting an additional Deputy Manager to join our team., This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as part of the selection process the successful applicant will be required to obtain a basic Disclosure & Barring Service check.

If this role is advertised as a secondment, secondments are subject to the agreement of your department releasing you, therefore, you need to discuss this with your line manager prior to applying. The purpose of this will be to discuss what, if any, impact your secondment might have on the service and service delivery should your application be successful, and how this might be addressed.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing their career in elections and increasing their professional skills. Good knowledge of National Electoral Registration and good knowledge of administering all types of election is vital for this role as is a positive approach to the challenges of new legal and procedural changes.

The successful candidate will provide day to day leadership, management, and development of others so the ability to work as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative, is an essential attribute.
