Full Job Description
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Elective Access Coordinator to join our team, based at our Lakeside offices. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team within a busy department, playing a key role in ensuring that the administration and coordination of the organisation's surgical waiting lists are managed to the highest standards. You will have dedicated responsibility for coordinating and booking elective surgical theatre lists within your allocated specialty., Our Elective Access Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to Pre-Operative Assessment and are responsible for providing an accurate and timely account of the entire patient pathway on the Patient Management system.
You will communicate and liaise with key personnel working within the UHB and as well as external health boards and agencies in order to expedite the patient pathway and provide information on breaches. The post holder will Co-ordinate, manage, organise and deliver designated Theatre lists across the UHB following RTT guidelines.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
