Full Job Description
The post holder will work with clinical information staff; clinical teams across theTrust, Directorate staff and Support Services, for example, Radiology and Pathology. The post holder will support Directorate staff in coordinating, tracking and organising multi-disciplinary team meetings for patients. An essential part of the role will be the collection of data relating to the patients journey. The critical elements will be working to deadlines, investigating the patients' pathway, having an appreciation of the importance of data quality and managing a varied workload., Produce and maintain list of all new patients diagnosed in the Trust by using a variety of sources and IT systems, including: IPM, CRIS, ICE that are held in other departments for example: Radiology and Pathology. Liaising with all Clinical/None Clinical staff within the Directorates Plan, coordinate and administrate MDT meetings for patients. This will include maintaining a list of patients to be discussed, case note, film and results collection and recording requisite information at MDT meetings, for example: Attendance, records and minute taking which is live recording of data and outcomes.
- GCSE (or equivalent) English, Mathematics Grade C or above
- NVQ3 or equivalent Desirable criteria
- Word processing/Excel skills, Demonstrable experience of working with healthcare professionals/previous experience in the NHS
- Knowledge of issues of working with confidential information and understanding the need for confidentiality
- Demonstrable Supervisory Experience in a Clerical Setting
- Experience of inputting accurate and timely data into computer systems Desirable criteria
- Experience of audit and data collection, Knowledge of Health Records systems
- Ability to use database and emails
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of clinical staff across the range of specialities
- Ability to prioritise workload to respond to changing demands
- Flexible approach to work Desirable criteria
