Gloucestershire EHCP Service is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for two Lead Case Coordinators to join either the Resolution Team or the Review team.

As a Lead Case Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing casework activity, providing guidance to colleagues, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach to resolution work, in line with statutory requirements and organisational standards.

The post holder will lead on the coordination and oversight of complex or high-priority cases across the Resolution Team, Review Team, and the wider EHCP service, while providing day-to-day support, advice, and supervision to Case Coordinators. They will monitor workflows and caseloads to ensure timely and effective case progression, including the management of appeal deadlines and mediations, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and service standards such as the SEND Code of Practice. Acting as a point of escalation for queries, concerns, and complaints, they will also support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous service improvement. The role involves liaising with internal teams, families, and external partners to secure positive outcomes, contributing to performance reporting, maintaining accurate records, and confidently presenting cases at Tribunal hearings as a professional representative of Gloucestershire County Council (GCC)., We offer a supportive and collaborative team environment, alongside opportunities for professional development and career progression. The successful candidate will be confident in leading, coaching, and supporting colleagues, with a strong understanding of relevant procedures, legislative frameworks, and best practice. They will be solution-focused, resilient, and able to effectively manage complex or sensitive situations, while communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
