Full Job Description
London Business School are looking for an Education Technologist to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and technically confident professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, improving systems and supporting high-quality learning delivery at scale. You will support the annual rollout of courses on Canvas, providing guidance, technical support and training on the effective use of the platform to enhance learning, teaching and assessment. You will also support attendance monitoring systems and processes and contribute to a range of education technology projects.,
- Support the annual course rollover process on Canvas, including integration with the School's student administration system.
- Set up programme and course areas in the LMS, ensuring they meet Degree Education standards and structures.
- Carry out quality checks on courses prior to publication.
- Provide specialist input into the design and setup of assessments, learning activities and programmes in line with best practice.
- Support the operational administration of attendance monitoring systems and processes.
- Work closely with Programme Offices, Central Services, Subject Areas and other School teams to coordinate VLE/LMS builds and course material uploads., London Business School; a global and vibrant business community based in two of the world's most dynamic cities, London and Dubai. This role requires a collaborative approach, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly in a complex environment with a wide range of stakeholders., Proven experience working in Higher Education administration or a similar environment. - Experience with VLE/LMS platforms such as Canvas, Blackboard or Moodle.
- Awareness of SharePoint and use of Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of the challenges involved in implementing educational technologies in Higher Education or similar organisations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Data literacy and understanding of data management.
