The Trust is passionately committed to the communities of Batley, Birstall, Dewsbury and our surrounding areas, serving our local learners and their families in order to secure excellent educational outcomes, partnered with high aspirations. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls' High School; Batley Grammar School; Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School; Manorfield Infant and Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. We provide high quality education for all our young people regardless of their background or starting point. Collaboration across our Trust family of schools enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique
characters.
Batley Girls' High School is an 11-19 school and we are very proud of our achievements: 'Students achieve exceptionally well in this outstanding academy. They make rapid and sustained progress' (Ofsted, 2013). We have an ethos based around the ideas of Achievement, Respect and Transformation (ART). Respect for self, for others and for learning is at the core of everything we do. We are dedicated to investing in our staff and passionately committed to their development, providing a supportive environment where people can truly grow and flourish.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant to provide the very best care, guidance and support to young people in our school who have special educational needs. The successful candidate will work as part of a team including teaching and other support staff to support the learning and welfare of our learners.
The ideal candidate will be efficient and enthusiastic with an interest in Secondary Education. They must have an ability to deal with difficult situations and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive forward thinking Trust, who in return for your commitment and hard work, will support you to achieve your own career goals and aspirations.
