We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner to join the Piece of Mind Team (Darlington Mental Health Support Team).

EMHPs have a key role as members of the Piece of Mind Team (MHST), who have the responsibility for delivering schools' overarching approach to providing mental health and well-being support for children and young people.

This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Main duties of the job

EMHPs have the responsibility for delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people in education settings with mild to moderate mental health problems.

To support and facilitate staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.

Work in effective, evidence-based partnership with children, young people, their families and their educators in the development of plans for the intervention and agreed outcomes.
