Full Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Team Leader with proven management experience to join Field Studies Council Nettlecombe Court. In this senior role, you'll manage and mentor a passionate education team, oversee curriculum delivery, and contribute to the strategic management of the centre alongside the Centre Manager.,
- Lead and manage the education team, providing guidance, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
- Develop, plan, and oversee the delivery of high-quality curriculum-linked learning experiences that increase students' understanding of nature and the environment.
- Support the Centre Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the centre and contribute to strategic planning.
- Participate in some hands-on teaching in the field, working with students of all ages on a variety of science and geography programmes.
- Be part of our duty rota which will involve staying on site on some evenings and overnight to deal with customer issues and respond to emergencies. As a key member of the senior on-call team you will also provide support to other duty staff. - Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
- At least 5 years relevant work experience, with the confidence to produce and prepare teaching resources, activities and lesson plans that meet curricular requirements You will also have:
