Full Job Description
The successful candidate will:
1. Support teaching and learning through high-quality classroom practice.
2. Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help pupils make excellent progress.
3. Assist teachers in preparing learning resources and maintaining an engaging classroom environment.
4. Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
5. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support children's learning and wellbeing.
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including educational visits, school events and extracurricular activities.
7. Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can succeed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Teaching Assistant and hold a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification., We are looking for a person who has:
1. Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (or above) in a primary school setting.
2. A relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification, together with Level 2 English and Maths (or GCSE Grade 4/C or above).
3. Experience of supporting individual pupils and small groups to achieve their full potential.
4. Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
5. Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
6. Excellent team working skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
7. A calm, organised and flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure.
8. A commitment to safeguarding, promoting children's wellbeing and supporting an inclusive learning environment.
9. A desire for continued professional development and career progression.
10. Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.

This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), term time only on a fixed-term basis.
