Permanent, Full time
Job description

At Oasis Academy Don Valley, we believe Business Studies is a gateway to opportunity. Our curriculum is ambitious, relevant, and rooted in the real world. We know that when taught creatively and dynamically, business education can inspire students to think big, act boldly, and shape their futures with confidence.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Business Studies who can bring this vision to life; someone who inspires curiosity, nurtures entrepreneurial thinking, and helps every student recognise their potential within the world of business. In this role, you will deliver engaging, challenging, and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, bringing business concepts to life through relevant, real-world examples and case studies. Through innovative teaching strategies, you will make complex ideas accessible and meaningful, while planning and assessing in line with the Oasis Curriculum to drive strong student progress. You will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to take risks and share ideas, uphold high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and personal development, and actively contribute to enrichment opportunities such as enterprise initiatives and external partnerships.

What We're Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for Business Studies or a related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and the creativity to make learning engaging and purposeful
  • High expectations for all students, regardless of background or ability
  • A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive environment

Why Join Oasis Academy Don Valley?

Oasis Academy Don Valley is a co-educational all-through academy offering a strong sense of community and continuity for our students. As part of Oasis Community Learning, one of the UK's leading academy trusts, we provide:

  • High-quality professional development through Oasis-wide CPD and networks
  • Clear opportunities for career progression across a national organisation
  • A supportive, values-driven culture where staff wellbeing matters
  • A diverse and vibrant school community full of potential
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on young people's lives

Join Us

If you're ready to inspire future entrepreneurs, build confidence, and bring the world of business into the classroom, we would love to hear from you

Please note: Oasis Community Learning does not accept unsolicited CVs or speculative introductions from recruitment agencies. We work strictly with agencies on our Preferred Supplier List (PSL), and any CVs submitted outside of this agreement will not be liable for an introduction fee.
