Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a committed Class Teacher to join Krishna Avanti Primary School. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, enabling all pupils to achieve their full potential within a supportive and inclusive environment. We also welcome applications from more experienced teachers, including those seeking to further develop their leadership experience through a TLR position. School visits are welcomed and encouraged.   • Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that supports the progress and achievement of all pupils, using assessment effectively to inform learning.
  • Create a safe, respectful and engaging classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour, independence and high expectations.
  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress, providing clear feedback and adapting teaching to meet a wide range of needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external partners to support pupils' development and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Uphold professional standards, safeguarding responsibilities and the ethos and values of the school and the Avanti Schools Trust.

    QTS qualified
  • Clear vision and understanding of how to implement and sustain a high-quality teaching and learning
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate
  • Excellent skills in the use and application of technology
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
