To support and help develop an effective teaching team which continually enhances the quality of learning and achievement in KS4/5. Support the STEM coordinator by developing a diverse range of enrichment and engagement activities to ensure that there are opportunities available for all to maximise student progress To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement within chemistry and to monitor and support student progress. To work alongside the Head of Science to coordinate interventions and target underperformance. We can offer you:

    We are seeking to appoint from January 2026, a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Science to be our Lead Teacher for Physics in our very successful science department.
  • The successful candidate will have a passion for their subject and the ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles. The ability to teach all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at Key Stage 3 is essential. The successful candidate will be: enthusiastic and well organised able to motivate and inspire students committed to working in a team have a commitment to their own personal development QTS qualified Provided with training and support We are looking for someone who: has the drive and vision to grow enjoys being part of a team and sharing ideas and materials wants to make lessons fun and engaging enjoys learning new skills
