Educato are recruiting on behalf of a Specialist SEN School in Levenshulme for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone confident and skilled in managing challenging behaviour, supporting pupils to develop positive strategies for emotional regulation and engagement with learning. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide consistent behaviour support, helping to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive. Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs across the school day
• Implement behaviour support plans and de-escalation techniques
• Build positive, trusting relationships to help pupils manage their emotions and behaviour
• Support pupils during transitions, unstructured times, and periods of dysregulation
• Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals to support pupil progress
• Accurately record and report on behaviour incidents and interventions
• Promote a calm, consistent, and positive approach throughout the school
  
  Experience supporting children or managing children's behaviour desired
• A calm, resilient, and proactive approach to challenging situations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required
• Right to work in the UK
  
  Daily pay rate of £102 - £115
• Temp to perm role with genuine long-term security
