Nursery Teacher - Longsight Primary School
Location: Longsight, Manchester
Pay Rate: £170 - £223 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Longsight from September. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with the role continuing for the full academic year and offering the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative learning experiences within the Nursery setting, supporting children in their early development and helping them achieve positive outcomes across all areas of learning.
The Role
- Full-time Nursery Teacher position
- Working hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Planning, delivering and assessing high-quality EYFS lessons
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
- Working collaboratively with support staff, parents and the wider school team
- Long-term role from September until the end of the academic year
- Opportunity to secure a permanent contract
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within EYFS, preferably Nursery
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Is passionate about early years education and child development
- Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
