This is a brilliant opportunity to gain practical experience working with children and young people who need additional support both inside and outside the classroom. Many of the students you'll support benefit from calm, consistent adults who can build positive relationships and help them feel understood. Full support, training, and guidance will be provided before and during your placement. What you'll be doing

  • Supporting students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage with learning
  • Encouraging communication, confidence, and independence
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour support

Psychology graduates or students finishing their degree
