Full Job Description
Educato is working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chadderton that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their specialist provision from September.,
- Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs within the school's specialist unit
- Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
- Encouraging communication, independence and positive behaviour
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Creating a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment
Experience working with children with SEND (school, care or similar setting - A patient, resilient and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
