Full Job Description
Educato are recruiting for a fantastic Secondary SEN School in Bolton seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a full-time role for the entire academic year, with an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. You'll be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including:
- PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
- MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)
- ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team, you'll help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive. The role may involve supporting students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and assisting with personal care where required.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term to Permanent Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm, - Full-time, long-term opportunity from September.
