Full Job Description

A friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Barnet is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs from September. This Full time, Term time only opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a rewarding career within SEND education. As a Learning Support Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide dedicated 1:1 support and deliver small group interventions for pupils with Autism (ASD), Learning Disabilities (LD), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and a range of additional learning needs. Working closely with teachers, the SENCO, therapists and other professionals, you'll help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, develop independence and achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment. Working alongside experienced teachers and the school's SENCO, you'll support pupils both in class and through targeted interventions, helping every child access learning and achieve their potential.
