As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualised support and care to students with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support, adapting teaching methods and resources to meet the unique needs of each student
• Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement effective learning strategies
• Assisting with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility, with the utmost dignity and respect
• Facilitating sensory activities, art, music, and other therapeutic interventions to stimulate and engage students
• Actively participating in the planning and evaluation of each student's individual education plan
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to track student progress and communicate with parents and carers
