In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the personalised attention and care they deserve.
As a Full-time SEMH TA, you will be an integral part of our client's mission to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where students can thrive. Your primary focus will be to work closely with teachers and other education professionals to deliver tailored support, guidance, and interventions to students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting with the implementation of individual education plans, providing one-on-one or small-group support, and promoting positive behaviour management strategies. You will also be responsible for monitoring student progress, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic development of each student.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the unique needs of students with SEMH difficulties. You should have previous experience in a similar role, as well as strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. A relevant educational or behavioural qualification would be highly desirable, as would the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
In return for your dedication and expertise, our client is offering a competitive daily rate of £100. The position is full-time, and you will be based in the vibrant town of Stanley, Durham, where you can enjoy the benefits of a thriving community and excellent local amenities.
If you are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and contribute to our client's mission of inclusive education, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
We look forward to hearing from you and exploring how you can join our dedicated team in Stanley, Durham.
