Education ⫽ SEN Teaching Assistant Jobs

A supportive and inclusive school in Longsight is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and help make a real difference to their daily learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide personalised support to students with complex learning needs, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical needs. The Role:

• Supporting pupils with PMLD on a one-to-one and small group basis
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Supporting communication, sensory, and physical development activities
• Helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals, If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are available for an ASAP or September start, we would love to hear from you.
  
  Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND/PMLD is desirable
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Comfortable supporting personal care needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
