SEN Teaching Assistant - Farnborough Looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference in a young person's life? Or perhaps you're already working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals and want to take your skills into a rewarding education setting? We're working with a number of specialist schools across Farnborough that are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams on both flexible and long-term placements. This is an opportunity to become part of a supportive school community while helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. No previous SEN experience needed You don't need to have worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant before. Schools value people who can build relationships, remain calm in challenging situations, and provide consistent support to young people who may need extra encouragement. Whether your background is in sports coaching, care, youth work, customer service, or you've recently graduated, your transferable skills could make you an excellent SEN Teaching Assistant. We'll provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help you succeed. What you'll be doing

  • Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Helping pupils stay engaged with learning activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN professionals
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
