SEN Teaching Assistant - Alton Looking for a role where you can have a positive impact every single day? We're working with specialist schools across Alton that are looking for caring, motivated individuals to join their teams as SEN Teaching Assistants on both a flexible and long-term basis. Whether you're looking to start a career in education or gain valuable experience supporting children with additional needs, this could be the perfect opportunity. No previous school experience required You don't need to have worked in a school before. Many of the most successful SEN Teaching Assistants come from backgrounds where they've supported children, young people, or vulnerable individuals in other settings. If you're patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships, we'll help you develop the skills needed to thrive in the classroom. Training, guidance, and ongoing support will be available from day one. What the role involves
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Helping students engage with learning activities
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies
- Working closely with teachers and SEN professionals
