Full Job Description

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access education while providing personal care and promoting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing throughout the school day. If you're caring, patient, and passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs, we'd love to hear from you. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care, including toileting, changing, and hygiene support.
  • Support pupils with daily routines and encourage independence where appropriate.
  • Assist students in lessons and around the school environment.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Help create a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow EHCPs and individual care plans to meet each pupil's needs.
  • We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN, care needs, or disabilities.
  • Is confident providing personal care with dignity and compassion.
  • Is patient, resilient, and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Works well as part of a team while using their own initiative.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
