Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Littleborough from September. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with a range of complex learning, physical, and communication needs, helping them access education and reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. The Role

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex special educational needs.
  • Support pupils with communication, sensory, physical, and learning needs throughout the school day.
  • Assist with personal care where required.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individual learning and care plans.
  • Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and social development.
  • Support the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment., If you are passionate about supporting children with complex needs and are looking for a rewarding role within a specialist educational setting, we would love to hear from you.

    Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, complex needs, or disabilities.
  • A patient, caring, and resilient attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience supporting pupils with autism, physical disabilities, sensory needs, or communication difficulties is desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, health, care, or SEND are beneficial but not essential.

    Competitive daily rate of £115 per day.
