As the Full-time Learning Mentor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students, addressing their unique learning needs and helping them overcome academic challenges
  • Developing and implementing personalised learning plans that cater to the individual strengths, interests and goals of each student
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents and other educational professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting support strategies as needed
  • Fostering a positive, encouraging and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and self-confidence
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest educational research, pedagogical best practices and technological advancements to continuously enhance your effectiveness
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation to track student progress and inform future planning

    A strong educational background, preferably with a degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Substantial experience working as a Learning Mentor or in a similar educational support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with students, teachers and parents
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Creativity and adaptability, to tailor your approach to the unique needs of each student
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
  • Familiarity with the latest educational trends, technologies and best practices
