Working within our People team, you will help coordinate our employee networks, support the delivery of our D&I commitments, manage external partnerships and help embed inclusive practices across AO Group.   • Helping our employee resource groups (ERGs) stay active, representative and well supported
  • Coordinating the set-up of new forums where there's a clear need
  • Acting as a key link between ERGs and the Group HR Director, ensuring strong two-way communication
  • Representing AO at relevant community events and with external partners, helping build our profile as an inclusive employer
  • Turning strategy into action
  • Supporting the delivery of AO's ED&I strategy, translating commitments into prioritised, practical action plans
  • Project-managing ED&I workstreams, keeping things on track and stakeholders informed
  • Working with colleagues across the business to ensure our priorities reflect the lived experience of AOers
  • Contributing to the review and update of people policies and guidance, in line with ED&I best practice and legislation
  • Insight, data and reporting
  • Co-ordinating focus groups, surveys and consultations to understand AOer experiences
  • Analysing data to identify trends, inform priorities and measure progress
  • Supporting regular ED&I reporting against agreed objectives
  • Keeping up to date with national policy, research and sector best practice, and sharing learning with the wider team, Working with Learning & Development to build and coordinate ED&I learning for AOers and relevant stakeholders
  • Acting as a trusted source of advice for colleagues on equality and inclusion topics
  • Helping embed ED&I best practice into everyday ways of working across AO Group
  • Supporting inclusion across the employee lifecycle, influencing and educating teams to drive lasting change

    A strong understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion principles, including bias, privilege, social mobility and intersectionality
  • Experience coordinating ED&I projects or programmes of work, with a proactive and organised approach
  • Confidenct building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels, even where ED&I isn't a familiar topic
  • A tactful, empathetic style and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with care
  • Sound knowledge of People and HR processes, with focus on embedding inclusive practice across the employee lifecycle
