Ecologist (£37,563 - £40,444 pro rata @ 29.6 hours per week / 0.8 FTE), Temporary 12 months maternity cover (starting from commencement), We are looking for an Ecologist for one year at approximately 4 days a week to cover maternity leave. Your primary role will be to deliver ecological planning advice for a district or borough council within Warwickshire. There will also be opportunities to support the Warwickshire Biological Record Centre; carry out ecological surveys for project work; and help fashion new nature markets to support investment into Warwickshire, all to deliver the Warwickshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
We are seeking an enthusiastic officer with good ecological background knowledge. Those with a proven track record for delivering high-quality planning advice will be at an advantage. Currently, this post is for 1 year, but our team is growing and there is a significant chance that it will be extended with the aim to become permanent., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
