Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Eating Disorders Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team, where you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized care to individuals struggling with eating disorders. In this position, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Your responsibilities will include facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, collaborating with nutritionists and medical professionals, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families. You will also contribute to the development of educational programs aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of eating disorders within the community.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, along with licensure to practice in the state. A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting focused on eating disorders is essential, as is a deep understanding of the psychological, medical, and nutritional aspects of these conditions. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are critical for success in this role. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development will further enhance your candidacy.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a supportive work environment that values professional growth and personal well-being. Our comprehensive benefits package includes competitive salary, flexible scheduling, ongoing training opportunities, and generous paid time off. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those affected by eating disorders, and help empower individuals on their journey to recovery.
