Full Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Eating Disorders Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional care for individuals struggling with eating disorders. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing clients, developing personalized treatment plans, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions. Your expertise will enable you to collaborate closely with dietitians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, while also providing ongoing support and education to clients and their families. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the psychological and physiological aspects of eating disorders.
Qualified applicants should possess a relevant master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, along with licensure as a mental health professional. Experience in treating eating disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is essential. We value a team-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development, as well as the ability to adapt treatment strategies to meet the diverse needs of our clients. In return, we offer a supportive work environment with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve and help pave the path to recovery for individuals facing the challenges of eating disorders.
