Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Quality Advisor within our Early Years Quality Team. Our Quality Advisors are responsible for all Ofsted registered early education and childcare settings. The role holder will offer a wide range of expert advice, guidance and support to Day Nurseries, Childminders, Pre-school Playgroups and Out of School providers, including pre-registration and registration advice and support. This role involves working with our partner agencies to ensure there is a joined-up inclusive approach, and to secure the safeguarding and welfare of our children and families. The role holder will conduct quality visits to settings and support the planning and delivery of sector meetings, network events, training, briefings and other tailored packages of support that help raise outcomes for children and young people. Through close monitoring of data and outcomes, common themes and trends, the role holder will be a voice for the sector and play a key role for quality assuring early education and childcare provision across Trafford.

You will have experience of working in early years settings as an educator with children aged 0-5, and in a supervisory or management role and hold a minimum level 5 relevant early years qualification. With an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS requirements and inspection framework, you will be able to advise and influence others in putting the principles into practice. You will have excellent rapport building skills that help build professional relationships with providers so you can advise, support, challenge and coach our early years educators in delivering the best outcomes for our children in Trafford. You will be a team player who values and respects the contributions of others.
