Job Description
Banana Moon Day Nursery in Croydon is seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Professional to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children's development
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning
- Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children's wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
- Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support children's needs
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and nursery procedures
Salary
£29,000 - £31,000 depending on experience
Requirements
- Plan and implement stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children's development
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning
- Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children's wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
- Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support children's needs
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and nursery procedures
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for fostering children's development and learning
- Up-to-date DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK
