Job Description

Banana Moon Day Nursery in Croydon is seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Professional to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.

• Plan and implement stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children's development


• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning


• Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children's wellbeing


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education


• Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support children's needs


• Adhere to all safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and nursery procedures

Salary

£29,000 - £31,000 depending on experience

Requirements

• Plan and implement stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children's development


• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning


• Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children's wellbeing


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education


• Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support children's needs


• Adhere to all safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and nursery procedures


• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent


• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting


• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team


• Passion for fostering children's development and learning


• Up-to-date DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK
